July 29, Fineko/abc.az. AI-powered data security unicorn Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire Israeli cybersecurity startup Oasis Security in a transaction valued at approximately $1 billion. The acquisition is expected to be funded primarily in cash (around $700 million), with the remainder paid in Cyera equity.

Cyera, which recently raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation, is rapidly expanding its footprint in the AI cyber defense market. The deal follows its recent acquisitions of Index Ventures-backed data platform Ryft and Genie Security.

As autonomous AI agents and machine identities proliferate across corporate workflows, securing non-human identities has become a critical priority for enterprise safety. By integrating Oasis Security’s non-human identity governance with its core data protection platform, Cyera aims to deliver a unified enterprise security system tailored for the AI era.
