Azerkosmos' export revenues increased by $4.6 million

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerkosmos (the space agency under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport) exported satellite telecommunications services for $13.1 million for Jan-Jun 2026.

According to the July issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis & Communication of Economic Reforms, the figure is 54.1% more against Jan-Jun 2025.

In the 1st half of the year, satellite telecom services were imported by nearly 90 companies from 33 countries. Compared with Jan-Jun 2025, the number of countries has decreased by eight. The main export destinations were the UK ($2.2 million), Luxembourg ($1.6 million), Turkey ($605,400), Pakistan ($603,400), and Egypt ($327,900).

The share of Azerkosmos' export revenues in Agency’s overall earnings dropped from 65% to 63%.

In June alone, Azerkosmos exported satellite telecom services for $2.3 million (53.3% more versus Jan-Jun 2025).
