August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2026, a total of 191.596 million manats were refunded from the State Budget to individuals and legal entities, the Ministry of Finance informs.

The returned finances include payments on VAT for goods and services in retail, catering, culture (theaters, cinemas, museums, concerts), medical services, as well as hotel services in the occupation-liberated territories. This also includes VAT refunded to foreign citizens within the Tax Free system.

In addition, this amount includes the refund of part of the VAT for the non-cash purchase of residential and non-residential premises from developers, as well as the refund of overpaid other taxes, government duties, interests and financial penalties.
