July 30, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey expects to continue pumping oil from Iraq, despite the expiration of the pipeline agreement on July 27.
Negotiations between Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi on the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline have not yet been completed, but the parties have agreed not to stop exports during the consultations.

Volumes: With capacity of 1.5 million b/d, the current export through the Iraqi SOMO is 180,000 b/d. Ankara is seeking to extend the pipeline to Basra.
Investments: Turkish TPAO has acquired a 15% stake in a consortium with BP and ConocoPhillips to develop the Kirkuk fields.
