July 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan discussed the expansion of financial inclusivity in the banking sector. CBA governor Taleh Kyzimov wrote on X that discussions took place at the next meeting with the senior management of the banks that are part of the expanded presidium of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan.

"During the meeting, we discussed the macroeconomic environment, the results of the banking sector's performance in the first half of 2026, current initiatives aimed at expanding financial inclusion, and the key challenges facing the sector.

We also exchanged views on the strategic priorities of the banking sector and discussed key areas aimed at further strengthening the regulatory and supervisory framework and increasing the resilience and stability of the banking sector," he said.
