Visa beats expectations, but shares decline in value

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2026, Visa Inc. increased income by 14% up to $11.6 billion and net profit by 7% up to $5.62 billion. Earnings per share reached $2.97, exceeding analysts' forecasts.

The company allocated $6.2 billion for share buybacks and dividends. Growth was supported by strong consumer and corporate spending, as well as development of digital payment services. Despite the strong results, Visa's stock fell 1.6% in over-the-counter trading, as investors booked their profits.
