Apple faces shortage of MacBook Airs because of lack of memory chips

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. Apple is facing shortage of MacBook Air laptops because of shortage of memory chips.

According to Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman, citing knowledgeable sources, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the company to maintain sufficient stocks of devices, and supply volumes are currently at a minimum level.

Apple's official website states that the basic versions of the MacBook Air ordered now will begin shipping to customers only at the end of August 2026. For individual configurations, the delivery dates have already shifted to September.
