August 5, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Airlines (THY) has released the financial results for the 2nd quarter of 2026.

Company's net profit amounted to 8.9 billion Turkish liras (TL) (approx. $187.1 million), falling below market expectations of 13.1 billion TL (approx. $275.3 million).

Amid high fuel prices and difficulties in the aviation sector, THY's net profit dropped by 67% versus Q2 of 2025. At that, company's quarterly earnings grew by 41%, reaching TL 327.1 billion (approx. $6.88 billion), which exceeded the forecast of TL 323.2 billion (nearly $6.79 billion).
