August 5, Fineko/abc.az. The oil production at Bahar field (located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea) totaled 180,000 barrels of oil in 2025.

According to Accounts Chamber’s report on the results of the audit of the formation and use of funds from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), this figure is 10% less than a year earlier and 5.3% lower than forecast.

The field also produced 165.9 million cu m of natural gas. The indicator is 8.4% less than in the previous year and 12.9% lower than the projected volume.
