August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Arabia's state oil giant Aramco reported a 33% increase in second-quarter profit as the US-Iran conflict pushed crude oil prices significantly higher. The company sustained export flows by diverting volumes through pipelines bypassing the Strait of Hormuz.
According to official figures, adjusted net income climbed from $25.2 billion in the prior-year period to $33.4 billion, surpassing Bloomberg analyst estimates of $31.1 billion.
CEO Amin Nasser highlighted that strategic infrastructure—including the East-West Pipeline, storage networks, and shipping terminals—ensured business continuity despite regional instability. Aramco added that recent attacks targeting infrastructure in July had no material operational impact. The company realized an average crude selling price of $108.10 per barrel during the quarter.
