Hermes Finance’s report: profit decreased by 78.6%

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Operating in Azerbaijan, leasing company Hermes Finance ASC completed 2025 with net profit of 180,100 manats (78.6% less versus 2024).

According to company's annual report, a drop in profit is mainly linked with a 48.7% decine in net interest income, from 1.53 million manats to 920,000 manats, and the fact that, despite a 14.2% fall in provisions for credit losses, decrease in income exceeded the decine in expenses. The profit before tax decreased by 68.2%, to 340,200 manats.

Leasing company's overall earnings, including net interest income and other operating profit, amounted to approx. 1.09 million manats (64.8% less than in the previous year). The total operating expenses amounted to nearly 750,000 manats (37.4% less than in the previous year).

At the end of 2025, Hermes Finance's overall assets reached 17.33 million manats (32.2% less than in the previous year). The leasing portfolio, which consists of current and long-term leasing investments, fell by 31.1% to 13.60 million manats and made up 78.5% of overall assets.

At the end of the reported term, leasing company's overall liabilities amounted to 16.95 million manats (a drop by 31.6%). The total capital decreased by 57.7% to 373,800 manats. The accumulated loss reached 570,200 manats (a rise of 237.3%). In 2025, the company announced dividends in the amount of 598,200 manats. The number of employees declined from 21 to 19 (a drop of 9.5%).
