July 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Digital Finance Center of Azerbaijan and the Fiscal Information Service of South Korea (KFIS) signed a memorandum of understanding on the design of Azerbaijan's digital financial control and treasury systems, as well as the development of an appropriate roadmap.

The Ministry of Finance informd that the document was signed during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Finance Himalai Mamishov and the KFIS delegation.

The parties discussed reforms on the digital transformation of Azerbaijan's public finance management system, the study of South Korea's best practices in this area, the development of digital financial control and treasury systems, and the preparation of a roadmap.

Gimalai Mamishov noted that digitalization of public finance management is one of the key areas of institutional reforms. He stressed the importance of further cooperation with the Korean side to exchange knowledge and technologies, strengthen institutional capacity, and create a modern digital management model.
