August 4, Fineko/abc.az. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Majid al-Ansari, announced exchange of draft agreements between the U.S., Iran and Oman.

He stressed at the relevant press conference that the main priority is to reduce tensions and resume navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Qatari diplomat noted that Iran and Oman are also conducting parallel negotiations on the status of the Strait. Stressing that a final agreement has not yet been reached, Majid al-Ansari expressed a hope for speedy completion of the diplomatic process. He also praised the mediation efforts of Pakistan and Oman, adding that Oman has played a crucial role in recent weeks.
