August 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has introduced substantial fines for legal entities that violate protection requirements regarding minor users and their personal data on social media platforms.

Under the new regulations, legal entities face fines of up to 40,000 AZN for first-time violations, and up to 50,000 AZN for repeated offenses.

Additionally, failure or delay in providing required information to the relevant authority will incur fines of up to 7,000 AZN for officials and up to 20,000 AZN for corporate entities.
