Pashinyan: Armenia to continue cooperation with EAEU despite its focus on EU

15:11 - 25.06.2026

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia does not believe that something irreparable has happened in relations with the Eurasian Economic Union, which is why the republic should not consider further cooperation with the organization.

ABC.AZ reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a government meeting.

He noted that cooperation with the EAEU is being actively pursued and will continue, and the parties are confident in finding solutions to existing issues.

He stressed that Armenia remains in the EAEU and continues to work within the Union.

Earlier in 2025, Armenia adopted a law on its intention to join the European Union, while Yerevan recognizes the incompatibility of simultaneous membership in the EU and the EAEU.
