June 21, Fineko/abc.az. In a continuous expansion of cross-border transport architecture, Azerbaijan has cleared another shift of direct commercial energy exports and Russian commodity transits bound for Armenia.
According to ABC.AZ, a freight train consisting of 17 railcars loaded with nearly 1,000 tons of diesel fuel was dispatched from the Bilajari yard of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC toward the Boyuk Kesik transit point to fulfill downstream fuel orders in Armenia.
Concurrently, the railway authority facilitated the transit of Russian grain supply along the same path. A separate convoy of 18 railcars carrying 1,260 tons of Russian-origin wheat was processed at Bilajari station and routed toward the western corridor.
Core Trade and Logistical Metrics:
Direct Azerbaijani Energy Portfolio: To date, direct outbound petroleum flows from Azerbaijan to the Armenian market have generated volume metrics of over 13,000 tons of diesel fuel alongside more than 4,000 tons of blended AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
Aggregate Russian Freight Transit Logs: Utilizing Azerbaijan’s sovereign logistics network, the cumulative volume of transit cargo moving from Russia to Armenia now stands at over 32,000 tons of grain crops, more than 7,000 tons of fertilizers, 414 tons of anthracite coal, 133 tons of aluminum, and 68 tons of buckwheat.
