June 9, Fineko/abc.az. A legal framework is being formed in Azerbaijan for the exchange of state property, including state land plots, for private property by mutual agreement of the parties.
ABC.AZ informs that the relevant provisions are reflected in the draft amendments to the Land Code, the Civil Code and the Law on Valuation Activities.
At the same time, property whose privatization is prohibited, as well as lands that are exclusively State-owned or intended for state needs, cannot be exchanged.
The valuation of the exchanged objects will be carried out by certified appraisers, taking into account the market value. After the adoption of the law, the procedure for the exchange of state property and lands will be additionally approved by the Government.
