May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The commissioning of cable car line Khankendi -Shusha is scheduled for next year.
ABC.AZ informs that President’s Special Representative for Shusha region, Aydin Kerimov, stated about this in Baku as part of WUF13 at an event on "Post-conflict urban planning: restoring a destroyed identity and rebuilding an integrated future".
"A cable car project is being prepared between Shusha and Khankendi. This road will connect the city center of Khankendi with the city center of Shusha, and the total travel time will be no more than 12 minutes," he said.
The length of the Khankendi-Shusha cable car will be about 6,000 m. The height of the station in Khankendi will be 844 m, and in Shusha - 1,317 m. The travel time by cable car will be up to 13 minutes, and the estimated speed is 8 m per second.
