May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, the State Service for Property Issues (under the Ministry of Economy) registered 115,613 ownership rights to real estate and issued relevant extracts.
ABC.AZ reports that out of the overall number of registered property rights, 21,584 ones (18.7%) accounted for the initial registration and 94,029 (81.3%) for the repeat registration.
The state registration of property rights was carried out for 24,821 individual residential and country houses, 28,300 apartments, 58,093 land plots, 1,072 non-residential buildings, 3,096 non-residential premises, 196 property complexes and 35 multi-apartment residential buildings.
At the same time, 31,544 registered property rights accounted for the city of Baku and the rest for the regions of the country.
In addition, for Jan-Apr of this year, 80,383 technical passports were issued and 19,566 mortgage agreements were registered.
